The first step to meal prepping successfully, is to decide what meals you want to make for the week and which ingredients you will need to buy in order to make those meals. This free printable grocery list template is the perfect tool to get you started. Simply print this list every Sunday or on your meal-prepping day of choice and fill it out!
Meal prepping is the best way to ensure you are eating healthy meals throughout the week that will keep you on track with your health & fitness goals. By prepping your meals ahead of time, you also save yourself a lot of extra time during the week. So, the extra time you spend up front planning and prepping, will save you time and money in the end.
How this sheet works:
- Print out the sheet.
- In the top section of the sheet, write out all of the meals you plan on having for the week including breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks.
- Fill out each of the category sections with the ingredients you will need to pick up from the grocery store. Make sure that you check your fridge and pantry while you are filling out the sheet so that you don’t buy stuff that you already have.
- Bring your list and a pen with you to the grocery store and check off items as you add them to your cart.
- Let the meal prepping begin! We love to do our meal prepping on Sundays so that we can have all our meals cooked and portioned out for the week. Depending on your meals, a good prepping session can take a couple hours so make sure you set aside enough time for yourself.
