Summer is coming to an end and it’s time for everyone to get back to business and that includes saying goodbye to casual days and hello again to business attire. If you are in desperate need to replenish your professional wardrobe this year like I was, here is where to find the best work pants!
Let’s be real for a second, business attire has never been known to be the most flattering. I for one have always struggled when it comes to finding office appropriate clothing, especially pants.
The good news is the hunt is finally over and I have finally found the two best stores with work pants that are flattering, comfortable and affordable. Although, I can’t take the credit for this one because I didn’t find them on my own. Shout out to one of my best friends, Alex for the award winning recommendations!
Before receiving the recommendation to go here for work pants, I never stepped foot into a LOFT store or even considered it. But I totally trusted my girlfriend’s opinion and gave them a try. I actually purchased my first couple pairs online, without event trying them on first. (Risky, I know.) But I was about to start my new job and was running out of time to physically make it to the mall. I solely made this purchase going by the words of other women and chose the styles I wanted after reading reviews on every single one of them.
This is a prime example of women having each other’s backs because this was one of my best purchases. Both pairs that I received were that of excellent quality, extremely comfortable and super cheap because they happened to be on sale. I have noticed that LOFT is always having wonderful sales, so this means you can get a weeks worth of work pants without blowing a huge chunk of your hard earned paycheck. Proud to say I am now a LOFT customer for the long haul! (Well, as long as I work for a company that requires business casual.)
My favorite fit: High waist, slim ankle, usually black
Old Navy is another store that I didn’t give the time of day…until my trusty pal Alex told me her go-to is the pixie ankle cut. Now I can proudly say, that is my style of choice as well. I would say their pants are very similar to LOFT’s as they are extremely comfortable, as flattering as work pants can be and best of all, very very budget friendly.
You honestly can’t go wrong with either of these stores, and if you never shop anywhere else but these two gems for your work pant needs, you will be living a comfortable, fashionable professional life! What stores have you found to have great work pants? Let us know!
